5 of the Craziest Pizza Toppings You’ve Ever Seen!
Due to its beautiful simplicity, pizza can be topped with just about anything, meaning there is no end to the culinary delights that some people come up with.
To some it’s a case of getting carried away and ruining a perfectly good delicacy. Whereas others see it as an outpouring of creativity.
So ask yourself are they crazy or actually something you would consider trying? You decide.
Here are some of the craziest pizza toppings ever seen.
The Bacon Double Cheeseburger Pizza
Sitting between two large meat pizzas is five pounds of prime beef burger topped with bacon and a blend of three different cheeses, meaning this is certainly a pie to share with your friends.
The Sudoku Pizza
This Sicilian-style Sudoku savoury conveniently solves the problem of all the topping being concentrated on one side of the pizza. Keeping true to the puzzle’s rules, only one topping type per square inch is allowed and no ingredients can form a vertical or horizontal line.
The McDonald’s Pizza
If you’re one of those people that gets peckish soon after eating fast food, this creation should fill the gap until the next meal time. Smothered in tomato sauce and topped with French fries, chicken nuggets and cheeseburgers, then sprinkled on some mozzarella cheese the ‘McPizza’ should just about keep you going until lunch.
The Nacho Pizza
Combine two great snacks into one thanks to the nacho pizza. Starting with a standard pizza base and tomato sauce, the pizza is then topped with mozzarella cheese, jalapeno chillis, the all important nachos and finally a healthy drizzle of chilli sauce. It may not look appetizing but as always, the proof of the pizza is in the eating!
The Spaghetti Pizza
Technically this isn’t really a pizza, it’s more of a pasta imitation. Spaghetti and noodles with a mixture of eggs, milk and Parmesan cheese is tossed into a bowl and then in order to get that pie-like appearance the mixture is put onto a skillet, coated with olive oil and cooked it until golden brown. Maybe not a pizza, but an Italian delicacy none the less!
