Peter Hutchings

Peter Hutchings founded Cater-Bake UK in 1993. His career previous to this point included the position of Production Director at the Almay and Layfield ingredients factory in Liverpool, before starting his own bakery business in the late nineteen seventies.

In 1993 Peter switched roles from actually producing food to the business of suppyling bakery machinery, starting by refurbishing used equipments. As customer demand grew, Peter found himself searching Europe for suppliers of new equipment to meet customer requests and soon began regular trade with Italian oven suppliers FAGE and ZANOLLI and as his reputation as a supplier spread, dealers from all over Great Britain started to come to him for their Pizza and Bakery equipment needs. 16 years on and Cater-Bake Uk is now well established as one of the UK's premier supliers in this field.

In September 2009, following a difficult battle with prostate cancer, Peter passed away aged 62 years. He will be sadly missed throughout the industry by his colleagues and peers and leaves an inpressive legacy in the form of Cater-Bake UK Ltd. We will continue to supply and serve our customers in a way that would make him proud.
